Several big game species make their home on Kingfisher Bend Ranch. The Ranch is bordered by massive tracts of private rangeland and the Uinta National Forest is nearby. Each fall, large mule deer bucks wander through our front yard early in the morning. Bull elk can be heard bugling nearby and frequently spend a month or so on our property enroute to their winter range. And, because Kingfisher Bend Ranch is located on the river bottoms of the Bear River, moose are commonly seen throughout year.

Hunting big game in Wyoming requires special draws for residents of other states. Kingfisher Bend Ranch is located in the southwestern corner of Wyoming. If you would like to hunt on the Ranch, contact us for a tentative reservation and then contact Wyoming Game and Fish to obtain current regulations for our area and put in for the draw on the animal of your choice.  Available hunts include: mule deer (archery, regular season rifle, late season rifle); elk (late season rifle); and moose (regular season rifle).

Hunters and their families can use all the amenities of the Ranch during their hunt.  The Ranch manager can guide you and provide support with the Ranch pickup truck and ATV.
